Austin earned his Bachelor of Science in business management and technology. He has passed the Series 65 securities exam and holds life and health insurance licenses in Texas.

In his spare time, Austin enjoys golfing, skiing, snowboarding and taking weekend trips to visit New York City and other great cities around the country. Since moving back from New York, he has lived in the Austin area for almost a decade.
